ABOUT DMINQ
Dominque DMINQ Robbins is an R&B, HIP HOP, AND POP artist, SINGER, SONGWRITER, PRODUCER AND AUDIO ENGINEER.
Dominque began his music journey at the age of two years young singing and showing an interest in music. Dominque LATER grew up to become one of the more popular singers in his church, playing multiple instruments, and even getting opportunities to play and sing for many gospel and Christian artists. HE ALSO LATER BECOME A POPULAR CHOIR DIRECTOR, AND WORSHIP LEADER, BUT AS FAST AS IT STARTED, THAT ERA OF HIS LIFE ENDED OFFICIALLY IN 2016.
Dominque began writing and producing music on his own IN 2009 and IN DECEMBER OF THAT SAME YEAR DOMINQUE released his first mixtape under record label Confidential Records TITLED "DOMINIC".
Since then Dominque has released a total of four mixtapes, over 20 singles, two albumS, as well as producing, writing,
and singing for other artists.
Dominque now holds the title for being the first black and lgbtq radio show host on La junta, Colorados radio station Thunder Media with the show "Soulful Expressions".
Dominque has also opened the first arts and entertainment production company and PROFESSIONAL recording studio in Rocky Ford named ART MATTERS PRODUCTIONS, which has now been in business for two years and is a Certified LGBTQ Business Enterprise registered under the National LGBTQ Chamber Of Commerce.
in June of 2023 Dominque was recognized as a patron of influence by the pikes peak library district for his influence and activism as an artist for the LGBTQia+ community in Colorado AND IN JUNE OF 2024 DOMINQUE WAS AWARDED THE 40 UNDER 40 AWARD FROM THE LGBTQ CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN COLORADO FOR HIS LEADERSHIP AS AN LGBTQ AND BIPOC OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO. dominque also helped start the first ever pridefest in southeast colorado known as seco pride hosted in lamar, colorado.
DOMINQUE NOW HAS PLANS TO RELEASE HIS THIRD and fourth ALBUMs IN 2025, AND HE IS ALSO PLANNING TO GET MORE INVOLVED WITH DEVELOPING RELATIONS BETWEEN THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY AND LGBTQ PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN NEGATIVELY EFFECTED BY PEOPLE IN CHURCH SO THAT IMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS CAN TAKE PLACE AND HEALING CAN HAPPEN
FOR THOSE SEEKING IT.
